I listened to this story on NPR last week, The Incredible Case of the Bank Robber Who's Now a Law Clerk. It is quite something. Except that it really wouldn't be if we focused more on restorative justice and took a real look at how unjust, not to mention, ineffective our sentencing and prison laws are.
