beautiful decay.

I have been trying to put my finger on why Detroit is so captivating. Last year, Ben and I went by the old train station in downtown. It is haunting and yet so beautiful.

Last week, it hit me. It is such beautiful decay. In Detroit, it is of course sad. But, I have been hunting around for more images to show what I am talking about. See below...isn't the peeling paint, rust, and decay just gorgeous?
