I figure starting off the week with some tunes is a good way to take on the new week. I was also taken last night by this new Wilco song, "One Sunday Morning". Fair warning, it is a 12 minute endeavor.
All Songs Considered is featuring it this week. The song is about the troubled relationship between a father and son. And, in NPR's far better words,"the sweetly rambling "One Sunday Morning" is expansive enough to fill a novel; the words reward careful listening. It documents small moments and big father-son lessons — "I miss being told how to live," among others — and spans more than one lifetime of complexities." Hope you enjoy the repetitive sweetness to it too.
