As part of our ongoing discussion of easy weekend trips from DC, welcome to Middleberg, Virginia. Middleberg is now on the top of my list to get to. Beautiful. About an hour from DC. Hiking and activities. Great food. Charming small town. What's not to love?

To top it off, someone in the office yesterday went this past weekend and stayed at the Goodstone Inn. It is a gorgeous estate and the restaurant is all locally sourced. And, the ratings and reviews make it sound even better. I am determined to make this happen once the weather is nice and Ben is back for the summer, Middleberg here we come!
