Quick plug for Federal Store on 14th (between S and Florida). It's a small men's store. Ben bought a pair of shoes there last year and we stopped in this weekend. If you are on the block and looking for a cool bag or sneakers, it is worth considering. It is small and has a limited inventory but nonetheless a great independent shop in the U Street neighborhood!
