My Mom mentioned over the weekend a story she heard on NPR about this National Gallery of Art exhibit,
Colorful Realm: Japanese Bird-and-Flower Paintings by Ito Jakuchu. It is showing until the end of the month, and apparently the detail, color, and inspiration are just incredible!
