boqueria.

Alison and I went to Boqueria last night for a first taste since they opened in Dupont a couple weeks ago. All in all, it has real potential. The restaurant is still working out some of the kinks, but we had a great time. The layout is great and there was good energy. My sangria, not minding the 15 minute wait at the bar, was solid. We tried the Pan con Tomate, Patatas Bravas, Albondigas (meatballs), and a shrimp dish. The Patatas and Albondigas were pretty good, the other two needed some more work. So, I would say wait a couple more weeks and then head in to try it out.
