vintage meets modern.

In truth, I am not sure what to make of this. Flipping through the Anthropologie catalogue today, I came across this combined typewriter/ipad, very creatively dubbed the "USB Typewriter".  

                                                 

I guess this is where vintage meets modern today and is perfect for all those starving writers out there (except for the $798.00 pricetag!). Anthropologie describes it as an "ingenious machine" that "melds era-spanning technologies, and when unplugged, can still be used as originally intended - with inked ribbon and paper".

Admittedly creative, I am not sure about ingenious.
