ghibellina.

Wow. We went to Ghibellina last night for dinner and let me just say, they nailed it in there. We loved it! The front bar is awesome, the layout is great, the service was very attentive, and the food was fantastic. No doubt it will be swarmed for the next couple days, but it comes highly recommended. And, on top of that, as a table we ordered 3 different desserts, and each of them were as good as the next. That never happens! The only thing we would advise against is the calamari, it came back dry and tasteless, but it might have also been an off-dish. Not to mention, Ben approved the pizza and frankly that is all you need to know!

  1. To be clear, the pizza is a cross between Neapolitan style-- nice doughy crust and a new york style that has a consistently solid crust throughout. Not soupy in the middle at all and a little harder than the traditional Neapolitan style. It is a nice balance, but if you prefer one or the other know it will be a little different. The sauce is excellent. And the cheese fresh and well applied.
